Reclaiming the Book of James...
The Epistle of James has long been a controversial letter within the church. Some have hailed and praised it, while others (like Martin Luther) have called it "an epistle of straw". In this study, we will reclaim this powerful epistle from the Papists and Arminians who have utilized it in their attempt to nullify the free grace teaching of the Apostle Paul. We believe that there are no contradictions in God's Holy Word, and that the book of James fits perfectly into a proper and doctrinal view of scripture.
In this series, we go word by word and verse by verse through the entire General Epistle of James. We will examine the Epistle in a way that allows us to seamlessly integrate it into the rest of the body of scripture.
